This Privacy Policy describes how Dictamp ("we") handles information in the English-Polish dictionary mobile app.

Data we collect

  • Account information (optional) — you can use the app without an account. If you choose to sign in (with Google or email, via Firebase Authentication) to back up your data, we process your email address, name and account identifier to create and manage your account.
  • Your backups (optional) — if you sign in and create a backup, the app data you choose to back up is stored in Firebase Cloud Storage so you can restore it.
  • Usage analytics — pseudonymous information about how the app is used (screens opened, features used, app version, device model), to improve the app.
  • Advertising identifiers — the Android advertising ID and related device information, used by our advertising partners to show and measure ads.
  • Approximate location — our advertising and analytics partners may estimate your approximate location from your IP address. The app does not request location permissions and does not access GPS.
  • Crash and diagnostic data — technical information collected when the app fails, to fix bugs.
  • Purchase records — receipts and subscription status provided by the app store, used to unlock what you bought. We never receive your card details.
  • Text you send to AI features — when you use an AI-assisted feature, the text you submit is sent to Google (Firebase AI Logic) to generate the response.
  • Notification tokens — a device token used to deliver push and in-app messages.

Purchases and subscriptions

The app offers monthly and yearly subscriptions and a lifetime purchase. Payments are processed by Google Play under its own privacy policy. We receive only the information needed to confirm and restore your purchases, such as a transaction identifier and subscription status. Purchase status is managed through RevenueCat.
